A single player project for Jedi Academy set after the Battle of Ya.

I've been seeing the exact same crash on my Windows 7 64-bit laptop as the one mentioned on JKHub:I can verify the following suggestion fixed my problem:From the post:'Create a shortcut to openjksp.x86.exe so, then edit the shortcut. After the full title of the shortcut, add after the quotations, +set fsgame OpenJK. For example, my shortcut reads: 'C:Program Files (x86)LucasArtsStar Wars Jedi Knight Jedi AcademyGameDataopenjksp.x86.exe' +set fsgame OpenJK. The game should run without crashes after this.'

It sounds like you're saying after you install Jedi Academy from the CD and unpacking the OpenJK zip, you should delete the old binaries: jagamex86.dll, jamp.exe, and jasp.exe so they don't cause any problems. It would probably be nice to update the installation instructions at, so noobs like me don't run into this problem. I didn't know why my SP wasn't launching until I read this bug report. Here are the installation instructions as they currently stand:'First, install Jedi Academy. If you don't already own the game you can buy it from online stores such as Steam, Amazon or Play. Then unpack the OpenJK zip file to your Jedi Academy GameData folder.'

I log in, see my desktop and all my beautiful little icons, then after a second or two they all disappear, as does the taskbar.

A little bit after that, I'd estimate four seconds later, a white fullscreen window.ArkadyOfMarsWindows 7, Windows Vista Support17 09:35 AMPosting Rules.
