To follow up from my post earlier. That was a HUGE pain. Turns out, it was only the Xbox version even though it said 'and Windows 10'.I had a few support agents 'confirm' that it was indeed the windows 10 code, however that's not the case.I just spent the past 2 and a half hours speaking to Xbox support, who would in turn refer me back to Microsoft Store support, etc.
The process repeated itself a good 5 times before somebody was finally able to assist me.Basically, the last Xbox rep I spoke to said that they understood my concern and would issue a refund. Awesome, right? Well after about 15 minutes of waiting he came back to let me know he could not issue the refund since it was purchased on Microsoftstore.com. As I sort of expected, so he suggested I reach out to them again. He did provide me with a case/record# that he assured me MicrosoftStore support would be able to review on their end and issue the refund without question.Finally, I called MicrosoftStore support one last time, provided the Xbox case# (which I didn't expect they'd be able to pull up), and was notified that my refund was submitted. I should expect it within 7 business days.I have since purchased the Windows 10 version and am currently downloading it. I've been with support over an hour on this.
Dead Rising 4 Pc
Even in my purchase history it says Microsoft Dead Rising 4 Deluxe Edition for Xbox One and Windows 10 Download Code. Yet I Only got a XBox One Code.This is clearly false advertisement on their webpage and unacceptable. Compensation should be given in the form of a PC Digital Code.I even had my original Dead Rising 4 pre-order canceled so I could upgrade to the digital deluxe with Windows 10 code.Not a happy camper at all. I've spoken to several reps and they basically all tell me to wait 7-10 days. A refund was not even offered to me (I do not want that, simply the Windows 10 code as well.).
