I've been doing a footsolider playthrough and I'm at the point where I need to start considering a KO to join so I can get access to some Champion-tier Armor later down the line.I use a Crossbow, Pike, and Zweihander(working on getting the Rune Greatsword). I'm not picky about which soldiers I use in terms of them being Cavalry or not, although Infantry is preferable.Which should I join? I'm open to any of them as long as I don't have to spend hours looking for Red Brotherhood parties to kill, or if I have to be dishonorable(like the Eventide). In the past I've used the Empire Immortals but Marius Imperator -really- doesn't like me, so I'd like to avoid that. While it might not be worth your while to befriend them, they are my favourite knights by a long shot. They are excellent for sieges with their accuracy, so I just have a line of those outside a castle steadily killing everybody.
On the field they are great too, have a small infantry line in front of them, and see them wipe out everybody. The other 2 advantages are that they are very good melee knights sometimes with blunt weapons so you get prisoners. And since they are not mounted, they are a lot cheaper.
